Aerospace and Defense

Custom elastomer solutions are used in the aerospace and defense industries for missile parts, on aircraft and as insulators on defense products. To ensure the proper part manufacturing, Goodyear Rubber actively works with customers and raw material suppliers from product design through manufacturing, including prototypes. All of the extruded silicon and molded products are certified for high temperature applications which is what is required.

Specialty seals with composite materials including nylon and Dacron fabrics, glass fabric reinforcements and various metal and non-metallic inserts including rubber to Teflon bonded gaskets and seals are manufactured with precision at our state-of-the-art plant.

Elastomer clamping solutions also make up a big part of aerospace and defense aircraft applications. Silicone, nitrile flame resistant and EPDM, which is resistant to hydraulic fluids with fabric reinforcements, are also created. All compounds meet industry application standards.

Construction and Commercial Industries

Goodyear’s extrusion, molding, calendering and compound mixing departments work together to provide a value added product from formulation design to production and finishing. Many of our products are made in California and we will provide an endorsement that states that.

Products include: RC tires, parts for electronics and electrical applications, portable water applications, pipe seals, rubber liners for pipes, seamless belting, spliced beadings, window seals, bulb seals and many more.
